Registration

You are encouraged to register early (and with groups of your work colleagues) to take advantage of the discounted rates available.

The Training (Tutorial) Program is held from 19 to 21 September; and the Technical Program from 22 to 23 September 2011

To register you can 'DOWNLOAD A REGISTRATION FORM'  to download and complete a registration form and scan and email it back.  The online registration system is currently unavailable.

The completed manual Registration Form should be either faxed or scanned and emailed to the Conference Secretariat with details of your payment.

A copy of the Registration Brochure that contains all the conference details can be downloaded by clicking onto Registration Brochure .

You may pre-register for the Conference until 5.00pm (AEST) on 16 September 2011. Any registrations submitted after that date will not be processed until commencement of the conference.

Onsite registration commences 8.00am on 19 September 2011.

Registration Fees and Entitlements

Register before 9 August to receive the Early Bird rate that will save you 15% off the Standard Registration fee for both the Training and Technical programs. The Standard Registration rate commences on 9 August 2011. All prices are in Australian dollars and are GST inclusive.

Group Rate

Group rates apply if five (5) or more employees from the same organisation register and pay at the same time. The Registration fee discount of 10% applies for the Training and Technical Programs. This discount does not apply to the Trivia Night, additional Welcome Reception or Conference Dinner tickets.

Student/Pensioner Discount

A limited number of student discounts are also available for full time students and pensioners (10% off technical program and training session registration fees only) and subject to confirmation of status on booking.

Justifying Your Attendance at the SAGE-AU 19th Annual National Conference

We have put together a justification letter. Simply follow these steps:

  1. Follow the instructions for customisation (included in the letter itself).
  2. Make any necessary additions - such as specifying the immediate problems you'll be able to solve, or outlining the long-term initiatives you'll be able to implement.
  3. Submit the letter to your management and get ready to attend Australia's leading conference for sysadmin.

Entitlements

A conference satchel is provided to all conference delegates. The conference polo shirt is provided to those attending the Technical program. However both can only be guaranteed for those people registering prior to the Early Bird rate deadline (8 August 2011).

All attendees are entitled to attend the Welcome Reception being held on Wednesday from 5.00-6.00pm; just prior to the Trivia Night function.

Training (Monday - Wednesday): The training fees include attendance at your pre-selected sessions and your session notes. Morning and afternoon tea is also included. Lunch is provided only for those who have registered for a full day of training sessions. A conference satchel is provided.

Technical Program Registration Fee (Thursday and Friday): Technical program registration covers attendance at all sessions, morning and afternoon tea, lunch on both days of the Technical Program, one ticket to the Conference Dinner and a copy of the proceedings (if available). A conference satchel and a conference polo shirt are provided.

Speaker Registration

All accepted speakers of either the Training or Technical Program receive a complimentary registration to the two Technical Program days (including a ticket to the Welcome Reception and Conference Dinner).

Optional Extras

Additional tickets to the Welcome Reception on the Wednesday evening are $35.00 each (inc GST).

Trivia Night tickets on Wednesday night are $35.00 each

Conference Dinner – additional tickets can be purchased for $130.00 each (inc GST).

Important Information About Your Registration

All registrations will be confirmed. If you do not receive your confirmation within one week of submitting your registration, please contact the SAGE-AU office immediately. If you have not received a confirmation, you are probably not registered.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellations received in writing prior to 29 August 2011 will forfeit 50% of the registration fees paid unless a substitution is made.

No refunds will be provided after 29 August 2011, however substitutions will be accepted.

Substitutions must be by another member otherwise the difference between member and non-member fees will be charged. This may be waived upon presentation of a doctor’s certificate or similar.
